Welcome back! Today I want to talk about the second book in the Unexpected Love Series, “No Ordinary Wildflower,” which just released on August 7th. This book took me approximately four months to write. It took a lot less time since some of the main characters, and the setting (Prince Everett, Princess Abigail, Lillian, and Archie) had already been developed in “I’ll See You on Friday.” This book continues the story of Prince Everett and Princess Abigail. It takes place twenty years after the first book. Prince Everett and Princess Abigail are now in their forties, and we are introduced to their children. The story focuses on what unfolds in the life of their oldest son, Prince Adrien, heir to the throne. There are a few twists and turns, but it’s a fun ride.
I am working on a 31-day devotional for women and the third and final book in the Unexpected Love series. My writing conditions are still very sporadic and not ideal. It can often be challenging to tune out “Baby Shark” in the background while writing a romantic scene. But with God’s help and the help of my amazing husband and family, it gets done.
